At Kiddie Kottage Learning Centers we are family oriented and child focused. Our program for all children include a customized curriculum to ensure the most successful learning and development for your child. Children develop at different rates. We feel it is important to teach and encourage development at a rate which meets the needs of each child. We accomplish this through the use of age appropriate activities for children at each stage of development. These activities are designed to meet the objectives of the Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards.
Our centers employ highly qualified and trained teachers who use the following areas to teach and promote development with each child:
Our infant teachers concentrate on individual nurturing, coordination, attention, recognition, gross and fine motor development, social skills, etc. Our toddler teachers build on the skills taught as infants and increase language development and concept skills. Early pre-school teachers (3-year olds) continue reinforcing the previously taught skills as well as introduce school readiness skills. Pre-Kindergarten classes focus on the skills necessary for children to be successful when entering Kindergarten. Each class provides a foundation for the next class/age group to increase skills.
Our curriculum is enhanced through the use of community helpers/guest speakers and outside programs such as Gymbus. We also encourage family involvement through participation or support of our programs by providing supplies, assisting with/participating in activities, reinforcing learning activities at home, etc.
